i was just thinking whether we must really emphasise so much on what (was his name Pastor Rupert?) said, about how we must be so energetic and cry out so loud for the worship to be considered deeper worship?

Personally, I feel that no matter the volume, worship should be what you bring before God and what you're led to do right? i mean, sometimes we feel so broken and tired that we just want to whisper the words to God.
